Framed paper geranium artwork titled ‘Tender Radical’ 2025

This paper geranium piece, with its vivid red bloom was inspired by Derek Jarman’s reflections on colour. Red, a colour of urgency, passion and survival, transforms the humble windowsill flower into a declaration of vitality. The work elevates the everyday, reminding us how colour shapes memory, meaning and resilience.

Dimensions are 53 x 53 x 4.5cm including frame

This is a completely unique artwork and would be a stunning addition to a space

In a bespoke, professionally made frame in dark grey with UV protectant archive glass that reduces reflections and sunlight on the piece along with brightening the colours.

Signed on the bottom right hand corner and also signed and titled on the back. Artwork is mounted on archival light grey mount board.

Materials used: fine crepe paper, kozo paper, floral wire, archival glue, acrylic paint, . All materials are lightfast and archival to ensure the piece will last, however it is still best to keep the piece out of direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
