Framed paper nasturtium artwork titled ‘Arise’.
This piece was included in the ’Flowers: Flora in Contemporary Art & Culture’ exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery in 2025. It highlights the graphic, striking nature of the nasturtium flower and leaves. Paper nasturtium vines rise to the top of the frame, with the tiniest restricted from reaching higher and sprawling across the top. It acts as a reminder of nature’s ability to overwhelm us.
Dimensions are 83 x 63 x 7cm including frame
This is a completely unique artwork and would be a stunning addition to a space
In a bespoke, professionally made dark grey frame with UV protectant archive glass that reduces reflections and sunlight on the piece along with brightening the colours. Artwork is mounted on archival light grey mount board.
Signed on the bottom right hand corner and also signed and titled on the back.
Materials used: fine crepe paper, rice paper, floral wire, archival glue, acrylic paint, watercolour pencil. All materials are lightfast and archival to ensure the piece will last., however it is still best to keep the piece out of direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
